Greetings and welcome to my page! My name is Ryan Kathleen Loxas. I am the 7th grade Reading teacher at Nathan Hale Middle. I have been teaching at Nathan Hale for 10 years now and have loved every minute of it! I graduated from St. Xavier University with a degree in Elementary Education with endorcements in English, Reading, and Social Studies. I have continued my education by taking classes in Special Education and Curriculum Development and Instruction.
When I'm not busy in the classroom, I can be found around the building organizing events as the staff advisor for Student Council and National Junior Honor Society. Together, with my awesome team of dedicated students, we plan things like the annual Fall Fest, seasonal dances, and various charitable fundraisers including participating in the Autism Speaks Walk Now 5K at Soldier Field each spring!
I hope you find this website helpful! If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me. Have a wonderful day!!
